The Employer Brand where no two communications are alike


Byron Hamburgers has built its consumer brand based on a certain level of unpredictability. If you walk into one of its restaurants, the colours, the interior décor and even the logo on the signage will appear different from the next. The only acquiescence to uniformity is the logo. We needed to translate that boutique-like identity to its employee offering. 



We devised messages that were as idiosyncratic as the restaurants themselves. Bold, loud, oozing self-confidence. Totally unique, but still unmistakably Byron.

Different illustrators, different colours, different logos. Big Employer Branding no-nos for most businesses. But, for Byron, it wasn’t just about saying they did things differently, it was about really meaning it and showing it.



Our work won awards for Art Direction at the RMAs, Best Online Campaign and Best Illustration at the RBAs and, not least, Best Employer Brand and Employee Engagement Programme from The Caterer. 

It revolutionised the employer marketing space, making eccentricity the new consistency. And ushering in a new wave of boutique culture to hospitality workplaces.
